At last! We went on an outing again. Despite wet weather, 24 members in 13 cars joined us for a drive to Bridgeport for lunch and whiskey tasting.
Our first destination was the Five Boys Ranch where we had home-cooking al fresco. The food and service were great, and the menu had more variety than most restaurants of its type. After lunch, we walked to the Oak & Eden, a distillery which makes premium whiskey and specializes in fine bourbon, to taste some of their creations. We chose from several flights of three whiskeys each.
